Here is a selection of questions I’m asked frequently. Please free feel to contact me if you would like further information on anything, I’ll be happy to hear from you.
Will you be the wedding photographer on the actual wedding day?
Yes, you will be booking me, Razvan, as your wedding photographer on the day. Depending on the package that you choose, I will also be bringing my loyal and hardworking assistant.
How many final images should I expect to receive?
You will receive anywhere between 600 – 1000 fully edited, ready to print images for an average full day’s wedding shoot. These will be a careful selection of the best shots to provide you with the perfect wedding album.
I’ve booked a video package – what final video material should I expect to receive?
Depending on the package you’ve selected, you will either receive a 2-3 minute trailer, a 15-20 minute best moments video, or even the speeches and the ceremony in full.
When should we expect to receive the final material and can we ask for changes to the video?
We aim to deliver the edited material in maximum 2 months for the pictures and 6 months for the video after your wedding, but usually we manage to edit and send over your video a lot sooner!
You can request changes for maximum 10% of the final delivered material once with no additional charges in maximum 30 days after receiving the material. For a one day event, the post processing time is usually between 40-80 hours, depending on the chosen type of package. All later changes will be subject to a fee of £30/hour.
Is there a limit to the amount of photographs you will be taking?
No, there is no limit on the amount of photographs we take. I make sure that I’ll get capture every single moment of your special day, and then carefully select the best shots for processing.
Will the photos I will be receiving be edited?
Yes, I will be editing all 600 – 1000 photos, adjusting colour, cropping and exposure. With years of editing experience, you can be sure all my editing will produce natural looking photography, perfect for your wedding album. Will the images I receive be Copyright free?
Yes, you will receive a Copyright free disk with all of our packages.
Can I buy wedding albums from you?
Yes you can. Albums are available on request, including a variety of sizes such as smaller sized albums (which make perfect gifts). Please contact me for further details and a price list.
How many images can you fit in my album?
There are usually around 80 images in a standard 40-page album. You will choose the images you want in your album & then I design a layout around them to tell the story of your day. Each page can contain between 1 – 6 images, however additional pages can be added (up to 40 additional pages).
Can we meet you before we book?
Yes, I always love to meet couples before their wedding to discuss the details of their day. It’s important that you feel completely comfortable with me, and to go through any questions you may have face to face as well. You are welcome to come to me, or we’ll arrange to meet in a suitable place.
Do I pay a booking fee or deposit?
Because we only book one wedding on each date, we do require a booking fee to cover ourselves against cancellations. This will be 30% of the contract value.
When does the final balance need to be paid?
The balance will need to be settled no later than 48 hour after the date of your wedding.
Do you require food and drink on the day?
Being a long day and a big food lover myself, I will love to have a hot meal as everyone else. If that's a issue, aI am happy to provide my own food & drink on the day.
What kind of equipment do you use?
I use only the best equipment for your day – top of the range FujiFilm Cameras and lenses. I bring multiple dual memory cameras and back up equipment to ensure there are never any technical issues, and your images are backed up in multiple places.
Are there any additional or hidden fees?
There are absolutely no hidden fees – the contract will be discussed in full and mutually agreed in advance will full transparency.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. I will send you full details of this on request.
What will you wear?
I’ll usually wear a black suit, or just black trousers and a black shirt. Depending of the event, can wear something more casual or traditional to blend in with the guests :)
What happens if it rains?
The most important thing is to not let it ruin your day! Having worked in all weather conditions, I have vast experience in adapting to capture the best shots possible. I use professional equipment that is weather sealed and capable in low light, so that your photographs will not be compromised.
We might need you again in a year’s time if a baby comes along! Can you provide this type of photography?
Yes I can and would love to. I am also available for family photos, special moments and anniversaries.
