Hatfield House, Hertfordshire, Wedding Photographer - S & M
Hatfield House Hertfordshire Sikh wedding photographer
I was so excited to hear that S & M chose Hatfield House in Hertfordshire as their Sikh wedding reception venue as I really wanted the chance to shoot a wedding there.
I’ve said it before and will say it again, as a wedding photographer my work takes me to some of the most beautiful places the UK has to offer.
If you recently got engaged and are looking for wedding reception venues, Hatfield House is a fantastic place.
I started off the day by going to S’s parents’ house for a few images of her getting ready.
Her family was lovely and offered me one of the best Masala Chai teas I ever had. The family cat decided that she needed to keep a close eye on the preparations and on me 🙂
One of the best things when people choose to get ready for the wedding in their parents’ homes is that you can sneak a peek at childhood pictures.
When beautiful S was ready, the cat gave us her purr of approval and graciously agreed to appear in the photos.

The religious ceremony was lovely, filled with good emotions and colour.
S’s younger brother had a big part to play in the wedding as the Dhol player and he did an amazing job!

As the day moved on, we made our way to Hatfield House for some serious partying!
The day was sunny and warm and the light inside the venue is a photographer’s dream come true – I could really play with the light and get a few amazing shots for S & M.
While the guests were enjoying the delicious food, we snuck out for a bride and groom photoshoot in the lovely Hatfield House grounds.
Thank you so much S & M for a great time and for being so nice and friendly.
